Time for some #TuesdayThoughts!
As CBD continues to take over the wellness market, more and more people are confused by the difference between #CBD and #THC. Otherside #Cannabinoid #Dispensary is highly familiar with cannabinoids and exactly how they work so we're happy to help and educate you!
Let's start at the root of the matter... Get the joke? CBD is a cannabinoid derived from the #hemp plant, as it is known for containing levels of THC below 0.3%. THC, on the other hand, is extracted from the wrongfully infamous #marijuana plant.
Both these cannabinoids have overlapping #health benefits, meaning that those seeking to use them for medicinal purposes can choose either THC or CBD, or both. However, despite this, the two interact with different receptors in the human body to one another. This is why THC, unlike CBD, is known for having #psychoactive effects, resulting in people getting 'high'.
And finally, one major difference, CBD is legal, THC is not. And that's the gist of it if you want to know more about all the 113 different cannabinoids and how they vary, check out this blog post.
